Fees for Youth
Annual Fees to Scouting America $88 (optional $15 to Scout Life Magazine)
Annual Pack Fee (Covers awards, activities) *$175
Annual Fee Golden Gate Council (Council manages local camps, administration, and marketing) $75
New Uniform, T-shirt, Book, Accessories (Uniform should last for years) $200
Additional Fees
Additional activities such as overnight camp outs, field trips, day camps and resident camps have additional costs associated with them. These costs differ based on several factors. Detailed information can be provided by the local pack leadership.
The pack has a gently used gear closet with t-shirts, uniforms, books, and accessories.
No scout will be turned away due to financial hardship. The pack reserves funds to help where needed. Email - cubmaster.pack25rec@gmail.com
Volunteer Opportunities
There is a place for every parent, legal guardian, or other caring adults who want to help.
All cub scout packs are run by adult volunteers with training from our local council office. Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. Getting everyone involved makes the experience more meaningful for your Cub Scout.

- *Adult Leaders - Annual Fee $65 + Fingerprint/Background Check (Cost depends on Locations) + Adult Uniform
- Assembly Bill 506 was passed by the State of California in September 2021, requiring volunteers and staff of youth service organizations to complete training in child abuse and neglect reporting, and undergo Live Scan background checks. AB 506 went into effect as state law on January 1, 2022.

- All adult leaders must take Youth Protection Training and may take specific position training.
- Adult leader meetings are every first Sunday of the month. We welcome all parents and guardians of Pack 25. Meetings discuss events, activities, and other actions to help run the year smoothly.
